The World Student Christian Federation's General Assembly was held in Montreal, Canada from 1-9 August 2008. David Fraccaro attended for the US Conference for the World Council of Churches. In addition, the US Conference's Young Adult Task Force provided suport for a student scholarship to the event.
"I eagerly await an account of your visions predicting what tomorrow may bring", expressed the World Council of Churches general secretary Rev. Dr Samuel Kobia in a message of support to the 34th General Assembly of the World Student Christian Federation (WSCF).
